The best part of my job is becoming a part of your adventure, whether it be entering the property market for the first time or refinancing existing debt, there is nothing I love more than walking with you every step of the way.

Over the past 12 years, I have been privileged to work alongside hundreds of clients, some of whom become friends, helping to secure their first home, assist with growing an investment portfolio or working with them to refinance their loans helping them to achieve their personal finance goals. 
More recently I’ve spent the last five years working exclusively with doctors, dentists and vets across Sydney and further afield and have developed a deep understanding of their unique financial needs.

Now with a family of my own the time feels right to head in a new direction and spread my wings taking my knowledge and skills out to the wider community again. Aqua Door Home Loans was born, and it has felt like the most organic and natural thing to do.

I am fortunate to live on the beautiful Northern beaches of Sydney with my amazing husband and 2 gorgeous children. Whatever the season we enjoy getting into the great outdoors and making the most of our fabulous location. 
I have an unhealthy love of horse riding, I dabble in triathlon, adore a sneaky snow holiday and I will seek out any excuse for a glass of wine with friends. 
Leading the healthy balanced lifestyle I love gives me the motivation and passion I need to provide a truly personalised and caring service.

Buying a Home

I can help walk you through everything you need to know about buying your first home, relocating, up sizing or downsizing.

Buying your first home or relocating might seem like a daunting experience, but as long as you have all your ducks lined up and you are prepared, it can be a smooth and fun process.

Before you begin your house hunt, consider things like location, your budget and what you can comfortably afford. Making sure you have considered all these things can make the process smoother and more enjoyable.

Knowing your limits on monthly repayments and deposits can help make the decision on purchase price and geographic area a lot more precise and narrow down options which can often seem daunting at the start. Once this has been decided, the next stage is to obtain a pre-approval, so you can start your ‘active’ house hunt.

When a property is found there is a whole bunch of other things you need to do. Contracts need to be read by a solicitor or conveyancer, valuations required by the bank, building and pest inspections completed etc. but this is where I can help make sure all the ‘ducks are in a row’ to make the process run smooth and as quickly as possible so you can secure the home of your dreams.

There are a few things you need to do when looking to enter the investment market. Speaking to your accountant or financial advisor is wise to make sure this path is the best for you.

Understanding the responsibilities of property investment and covering off all related items such as ongoing management of the property, tenants, maintenance and relevant insurances need to be considered before diving in.

Researching suitable areas for best property return is imperative and remember this is not a property you are intending to live in, so you need to look at this purchase as a business decision and try to leave some emotion out of the transaction, unless the long-term plan is to live in it.

Look at geographical locations carefully, checking local infrastructure such as proximity to bus routes, train stations, shops and schools are all sure-fire ways of making sure your investment is successful.

Setting your budget and ensuring you are not stretching yourself too far is critical. If the property is untenanted for a period or renovations are required, you don’t want to find yourself in a financial dilemma.

What’s the Story With the Door?

After designing a logo that made me smile the second the draft hit my inbox, there was no question, I had found my ‘brand’.

Since then I cannot believe the number of people who have asked me “so what’s with the door?” It got me thinking why this little door means so much.


It’s my favourite!


For as long as I can remember I have been attracted to doors. My first photo was taken in Santorini at the age of 17 and since then I have been snapping pictures of doors on all my travels both near and far. Not only was I drawn to the beauty, quirkiness or bright colours of these doors, I would often wonder who lived behind them, what person, people or family lived with these fabulous pieces of timber, and how they too clearly have a love of doors and are proud to adorn the fronts of their homes with them.


My 2 beautiful children were born in November, so No.11 was an easy pick.
